Advancing Semiconductor Technologies in the Northwest (ASTN)
Leveraging Resources Across the Region
Image
ASTN will leverage fabrication and characterization resources across the region. This includes the Northwest Nanotechnology Infrastructure site which is a partnership between the University of Washington, Oregon State University, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and is supported by the NSF-National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure program.
The physical infrastructure consists of:
- Ambient Pressure Surface Characterization Laboratory (Corvallis, OR)
- Materials Synthesis & Characterization Facility (Corvallis, OR)
- Oregon Process Innovation Center (Corvallis, OR)
- Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Institute (Corvallis, OR)
- Washington Nanofabrication Facility (Seattle, WA)
- Molecular Analysis Facility (Seattle, WA)
